Bravo Restaurant in the Museum of Fine Arts

My husband and I had lunch at Bravo Restaurant in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston the other day. It was a Saturday and they have a fixed brunch menu on the weekends. You can order a two course meal for $32 or a three course meal for $38. I ordered the two course meal which was an appetizer and the main course. My husband opted for the three course meal which included a dessert also.

I started out with a Bellini, which is my favorite coctail. It was good too, with the right amount of peach. They also serve a nice basket of breads, muffins and biscuits. My husband thoroughly enjoyed this.

I ordered as my appetizer Scallops over greens and it was wonderful. I received three huge sea scallops over a large plate of bitter greens and green beans with a nice dressing. My husband had salmon with all the fixings.

My main course was actually breakfast. I had an egg scramble. There was a good portion of eggs, wild mushrooms, cheese and asparagus with a side of hash browns. I am not a potato person, so I cannot comment on them. They looked nice and crispy. My husband had lamb (which has been craving since he did not get it for Easter), couscous and a vegetable. He really enjoyed his meal.

As the waiter was clearing the table, he tipped over my champagne flute and it broke everywhere including on me. He was very apologetic and immediately moved us to another table for my husband to enjoy his peanut butter mousse in a chocolate cupĀ  and coffee. He then insisted on taking the dessert and coffee off the bill.

The entire meal was very pleasant and well worth the price. Each dish was presented on the dish like a work of art. We would definitely go back and check out the regular menu.
